This is an authentic old Japanese Meiji period wood block print, one set 24 pieces, describing the Japanese childhood life in ancient age.

It is very rare to find a perfect set old wood block set, over 100 years old, dated, artist's name signed, 24 pieces in one topic. Even the museums, are not easy to collect so nice and perfect set.

All were painted ( printed ) by the same one artist, the artist name was signed on every piece, in several styles and seals.

It was collected by a very wealthy family in Taiwan during Japanese occupied the island before World War Two. The latest collector is a Chinese painting artist here.
