Size & Weight :  H. with wood stand 3 ft. 3 in. ( 99 cm ) (wood stand H. 3.2 in. 8 cm )

This is a rare Taoism figure, the Deity of Fortune, holding a fortune book ( FU LU Book ) on right hand.

According to the Chinese folk tale, every one's fortune was destined by the heaven God, recorded on a fortune book, keeping by the Fortune Deity.

If one did lots of benefic things to the public, his fortune might be added.

This stucco figure was made for the worship in an old temple, as a praying fortune image.
