Size & Weight : Thanka 4 ft. 8 in. x 7 ft. 3 in. ( 142 cm x 220 cm ) 
                        Frame 7 ft. 6 in. x 12 ft. 3 in. ( 228 cm x 342 cm )

Condition :   Some blotted due to age.

 

This is a very special Tibetan old Thanka, huge, silk embroidery.

Usually, a huge Thanka like this size was been hanging on an important Buddhism temple in Tibet.

The listing piece was from an old Tibetan Lama in Beijing, China, lots years ago.

A almost similar size of Tsong Khapa embroidery Thanka ( later 18th century piece ) is collected by Mr. William Hitchcock, and was exhibited in the National Palace Museum, Taipei, 1998.
