Chinese 6th Century Northern Qi Limestone Standing Buddha

Condition :   Neck and ankles broken off and repaired. 

This is a quite rare middle-sized ancient Buddha statue, carved in 6th Century, Northern Qi dynasty.

Between 1990 and 1996, there were some Northern Qi limestone Buddhism statues found in Chinzhou area, Shantong Province, China.

The similar pieces were exhibited in the National Palace Museum, Taipei, 1997.
