: Some
cracks and damages on the upper part due to age. The clay plaques decored with the official image are widely seen in the Song and Ming dynasty constructions. This official image is wearing the Ming dynasty court robe with the rank decor, it looks very similar to the Song type court robe, but according to the historical records, the official robe with the rank insignia on the front began in the early Ming dynasty, Hong Wu 24th year, 1392 AD. |
